“2026 Digi Muse——Music and Technology Festival” was initiated and hosted by the Shanghai Concert Hall in 2024. The festival aims to support artists in exploring the integration and innovation of music and technology, promote the creation and development of digital music works, build a co-creation platform for musicians and technology developers to promote financing and entrepreneurship, and explore new paths for the music and technology performance industry to create a new form of digital music performance in the future. “2026 Digi Muse——Music and Technology Festival” will be held at the Shanghai Concert Hall from March to May 2026. It is now recruiting music and technology innovation fusion art works from global artists and technology innovation teams.
Hollow Forms - Living Inside The Voice is a contemporary performance work integrating voice, bodily movement, and real-time electronics with a Sensor Glove, performed by Swiss Artist Franziska Baumann, together with Chinese guest musician Zhang Meng, who plays the Sheng.
Swiss wind music tradition is deeply rooted in schools and local communities, forming a unique educational system and cultural model. Wind music activities start at the elementary school level and are firmly embedded in both school curricula and community life, nurturing a large number of young music enthusiasts. At the same time, wind music system in Switzerland relies heavily on professional development pathways through the study in music school and higher education of music. This dual - track model of community - based education and professional training ensures that Swiss wind music enjoys broad social participation while maintaining a high level of artistic excellence.
This wind festival is planned to alternate between Switzerland and China, aiming to create a platform for cross-cultural exchange and high-level artistic presentation. The festival will also incorporate elements of traditional Swiss and Chinese music, exploring the cross culture possibilities .
